Introduction

• Please carefully read the following terms and conditions as they constitute a binding agreement between you and Bluebell Bakes by Nikki. By accessing the Facebook page or by using any of Bluebell Bakes by Nikki services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
• You must be at least 18 years old to accept the Terms and Conditions. We do not accept orders from persons under this age.

Prices

• All prices are non-negotiable and 50% deposit is taken at the time of ordering.

Deposits, Balance of Payments and Cancellation Policy

• A non-refundable 50% deposit (total value of the product) is required to secure your order and chosen date with Bluebell Bakes by Nikki. Collection times will be agreed with Bluebell Bakes by Nikki and is dependent on time slots availability on that date. During peak times (Christmas, Mother’s Day etc) there will be set collection times.
• Wedding cupcake orders. A deposit is not taken at the time of booking if the wedding date is greater than two month from the date of order. An initial order of quantity and requirements is taken at the time of order and five weeks before the wedding date the final order quantity and requirements is confirmed and the full non-refundable balance is due. 
• Once an enquiry has been made the deposit needs to be paid within 24 hours to secure your order. I reserve the right to cancel any request if the payment is not made within this time frame.
• Bluebell Bakes by Nikki retain the right to cancel the booking in exceptional circumstances beyond their control, such as fire or ill health, during such times, a full refund of any monies paid will be made as soon as practically possible.
• The deposit on placement of your product will be deducted from the total value of your order. The balance is payable before collection.
• Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. 
• Cancellations will only be accepted up to 36 hours prior to the agreed collection. The balance will not become due but the deposit will not be refunded for any reason as your time slot was reserved. Once the order is within 36 hours the full payment becomes due regardless of lack of collection.

Advance Ordering

• To avoid disappointment please give as much notice as possible for your order. However, I will accept short notice orders subject to availability.
• Each product is made to order.

Best before Date / Storage Conditions

• Our products are baked to ensure they are fresh on the date of your event (if advised of the date) and not just for the date of collection.
• I cannot guarantee the quality if the product is consumed more than 48 hours after the collection.
• There are additives in the food colourants in the icing (if used). There is preservative in the lemon flavouring. Please refer to the allergens list for more information.
• Your products need to be kept at room temperature in a cool dry room and must not be refrigerated.
• Bluebell Bakes by Nikki will not be held liable if items are not consumed during the recommended time frame or are stored in an incorrect manner. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the storage conditions are adhered to.

Ingredients and Special Dietary Requirements

• I do provide vegan, dairy and gluten free products.
• My vegan cupcake recipe contains nuts as I use almond milk. Please inform me if you have a nut allergy and I can substitute almond milk for soya milk.
• Gluten free ingredients are kept in a separate cupboard.
• Gluten free cakes are prepared first each day and boxed before any other baking commences in the kitchen.
• All my ingredients are of the highest quality and freshly prepared without the use of any preservatives in the vanilla and chocolate sponge.
• The lemon sponge will contain preservative in the lemon extract.
• Product ingredients can include eggs, flour, cocoa, sugar, milk, margarine and butter.
• Note: if a colour other than natural buttercream is requested there will be food colour additives in the buttercream. If you require more information about colour additives when considering placing an order, please contact me to discuss. A comprehensive list of food colour additives used is noted in the allergens section below.

Allergens

• Please be aware that although ingredients such as nuts and other allergens may not be in the products, they are still used in my kitchen, so Bluebell Bakes by Nikki cannot guarantee that any of my products are allergen free. If you chose to place an order this will be at your own risk.
• Allergens that Bluebell Bakes by Nikki use are noted in bold:
  celery, cereals, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites and tree nuts. 

Professional food colours are used in the buttercream in Bluebell Bakes by Nikki products which vary from product to product depending on the colour choices made. The food colour manufacturers state that various allergens are used in the factories producing their products and therefore cannot guarantee they are allergen free.

Bluebell Bakes by Nikki reserves the right to use any images of my products for publication on social media and other publications. The copying of any Bluebell Bakes by Nikki product image for gain is prohibited without prior consent.

These Terms will be ruled by and construed in accordance with UK laws.
